Mel Willis

Since qualifying and setting up my practise in 2008, I became increasingly interested in the benefits of reflexology for specific health conditions and its ability to manage pain.

I am qualified to practise Nerve Reflexology with the International Association for Manual Neurotheraphy and Nerve Reflexology, It’s a very precise clinical style of reflexology that  I use in particular for relieving chronic nerve pain conditions.

I  also specialise in a form of reflexology developed by Tony Porter called A.R.T (advanced reflexology techniques),

I am one of the  only Registered Reflexologist’s in North Devon practising  these clinical style’s of Reflexology, designed in particular to help with chronic pain conditions, energise & encourage hormonal balance.

I’ve also trained at the Christie hospital, Manchester, in clinical reflexology and palliative cancer care, where I had the opportunity to learn a technique called AcuReflex.  AcuReflex combines some principles of acupressure with Reflexology and was developed, originally to help patients on strong medical treatments, which can cause peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage). It can also be beneficial for a variety of conditions, including multiple sclerosis, ME, chronic fatigue diabetes and conditions that cause chronic nerve pain.

I believe Reflexology for certain health complaints, should be precise and strong, to encourage the body to energise and balance itself naturally.

I use a variety of techniques to create a unique experience based on your individual needs to promote energy & wellbeing.

I’m a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and also a member of The Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council.
